MicroStation 95 is the leader in professional foundation
software
for enterprise-scale engineering projects. It sets the stage for
further software leadership in building/design and plant engineering,
geoengineering, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering and is
a key component to collaborative engineering over the Internet and
corporate Intranets. Primarily known for it's superior drafting,
it utilizes a consistent, easy-to-learn user interface on all
supported platforms - including PCs, UNIX workstations, and Apple
computers. MicroStation 95 is particularly useful for project teams
that share design data.
ESPRIT/MS PowerFold, developed by D.P. Technology, is a
manufacturing engineering productivity package for the Bentley's
MechanicalSpace range of products. As an MDL application, it is
seamlessly integrated into PowerDraft, MicroStation and Modeler.
The product includes advanced flat pattern development capability,
forming simulation, and a materials database. ESPRIT/MS PowerFold
automatically recognizes the faces of a folded three dimensional
model. It then guides the process of unfolding using that
knowledge, with only minimal intervention from the user. Any
transition shapes can be unfolded using the program. Using
'intelligent unfolding' ESPRIT/MS PowerFold recognizes all weld and
bend lines. It leads users through the flat pattern development step
by step, and automatically computes the bend allowance and setback
from an integrated database of materials. ESPRIT/MS PowerFold also
features forming simulation to fold back shapes one flap at a time
until a full three-dimensional model has been rebuilt. ESPRIT/MS
PowerFold is part of D.P. Technology's range of ESPRIT/MS products
for manufacturing. |
